About staticflare

Why it exists

Cloudflare's network is the best CDN on the planet. Getting your static content onto it used to mean learning R2, wiring DNS, configuring CORS, generating scoped tokens, and reading three different docs pages — just to serve an HTML file fast.

staticflare exists to close that gap. The space between "I know Cloudflare is the right answer" and "I'm actually running on Cloudflare's edge" should be three steps, not three days.

What it does

staticflare automates the wiring of Cloudflare's infrastructure for static content. Bucket creation, CORS rules, managed domains, scoped tokens, DNS records — all provisioned with sane defaults so you don't have to touch the CF dashboard.

Your content ends up in your R2 bucket, served from your CF account, on your domain. We set it up. You own it completely.

Three ways to use it

staticflare meets you where you already are:

01
Web app

Paste a URL, we snapshot it, inject a speed badge, and deploy it to your R2 bucket. Provision your entire CF setup in under 3 minutes — no CLI, no config files.

02
Vite plugin

Add staticflare() to your vite.config.ts. Every production build auto-deploys to R2. Works with React, Svelte, Vue, Astro — anything that outputs a dist folder.

coming soon · npm install staticflare
03
npm package

Use staticflare programmatically — provision buckets, upload files, wire DNS, purge cache. Drop it into any build pipeline, CI step, or deploy script.

The infrastructure it wires

When you provision through staticflare, we handle:

R2 bucketcreated with your name, in your account
Managed domainbucket.r2.dev enabled and verified
CORS rulesGET · HEAD · PUT from * with 24h preflight
Scoped deploy tokenR2 write + cache purge only — minimum permissions
Custom domain (soon)DNS record → R2 bucket → CF CDN proxy → full edge cache

One bootstrap token — deleted after provisioning. Everything runs in your CF account. We never store credentials.

Who built it

staticflare is built by Ryan Quinn under QNTBR LLC — a small company building developer tools on Cloudflare's stack.

Sister products include FlareUp (real-time CF cost monitoring — get alerted before a runaway Workers AI loop turns into an $8k invoice) and QNTBR (Magic: The Gathering virtual tabletop).

Everything is built on CF Workers, R2, D1, and Durable Objects. staticflare dogfoods itself — this site is deployed on the same infrastructure it helps you set up.
