Terms of Service

last_updated: 2026-03-10

1. What staticflare is

staticflare is a Cloudflare infrastructure provisioning and static content deployment tool. It helps you create R2 buckets, configure CORS, wire DNS, and deploy static HTML to Cloudflare's edge network — using API tokens you provide and infrastructure in your own Cloudflare account.

The platform and its design are the original work of Ryan Quinn / QNTBR LLC. All rights reserved.

2. It's free to start

The staticflare web app is free to use. The underlying infrastructure runs in your own Cloudflare account — any Cloudflare costs (R2 storage, egress, Worker requests) are governed by your Cloudflare plan, not staticflare.

Paid tiers may be introduced in the future. Changes will be communicated clearly and in advance.

3. Your API tokens

staticflare requires two tokens at different stages:

Bootstrap token — a short-lived token with R2, cache, and token-creation permissions used to provision your bucket and generate a scoped deploy token. You create this, paste it in, and should delete it from Cloudflare after provisioning. staticflare does not store it.

Deploy token — a scoped token with R2 write and cache purge permissions only. This is stored in your .dev.vars and used for ongoing deploys. You are responsible for its security.

By providing tokens, you confirm: (a) the Cloudflare account is yours or you are authorized to act on it, (b) you understand the permissions being granted, (c) staticflare is not responsible for any unintended access or charges resulting from tokens you provide.

4. Content you deploy

staticflare fetches and uploads content you direct it to. You are solely responsible for the content you deploy. Do not deploy content that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, or violates Cloudflare's Terms of Service.

staticflare injects a badge into deployed HTML pages. This badge is removed when you upgrade. By using the free tier, you agree to its presence.

5. No warranties

staticflare is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, provisioning success, or fitness for any particular purpose. Cloudflare's API can fail, rate limit, or change — staticflare inherits these limitations.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use staticflare to access Cloudflare accounts you don't own. Don't deploy illegal, infringing, or abusive content. Don't attempt to circumvent token validation or use staticflare to attack or scrape third-party services. We reserve the right to block access with or without notice.

7. Intellectual property

The staticflare platform, brand, and tooling are the intellectual property of Ryan Quinn / QNTBR LLC. You may not copy, resell, or represent staticflare's work as your own. Open source components retain their respective licenses.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, staticflare and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service — including unexpected Cloudflare charges, failed deploys, DNS misconfiguration, or data loss in R2.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will update the date below. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
